About the choir:
Israel Boys Choir – Givat Shmuel
"Israel Boy's Choir" was formed in 2005 by Meir Gabay and Arnon Goldberg, both accomplished performers in the Israel Defense Force's rabbinate choir.
Conductor, producer and musical management:
Meir Gabay, conductor and producer of children and adolescent choirs all over Israel for over
10 years, writing, composing and member of the Israel performers union.
Artistic Manager: Arnon Goldberg, singer and teacher of Jewish singing.
Establishing and developing Hebrew and Hasidic music amongst religious children that will represent the religious and traditional public and the general population of the city Givat Shmuel .
Development and advancement of Hebrew and Chasidish music among youth in Israel and in the Diaspora
The choir is comprised of 25 boys aged 7-15 which were hand picked based on their vocal abilities and professional qualities.
Choir's Activities are diverse and include:
Performances at special occasions, ceremonies, weddings, and Bar-Mitzvahs all over Israel.
Recording in professional studios, production of CD, meetings with artists, unique uniform, bonding activities, and more.
The diverse repertoire of songs allows the choir to adapt for any event. The songs include the best of the Israeli , Chasidish and Mediterranean music in new and original arrangements.
The choir has received many compliments on their many performances around the Israel and the world, alongside with leading and known artists. Audiences are deeply moved deeply by their performances
Development of singing expertise:
Voice development, development of rhythm and listening abilities, combining correct singing and breathing, strengthening self confidence and stage stance.
